Read recipes without scrolling through ads.
In mangia your recipes land clean: only ingredients, steps, image. No banner, no pop-up, no newsletter — just what matters.
Ad-free. No subscription. No credit card.
Three banners, a newsletter pop-up, four cookie buttons, an autoplay video. By the time you've read the recipe, the pasta's cooking somewhere else.
Cleaner recipe stream — even while cooking.
You import a recipe from the web, the cookbook or a note. In mangia you only see what matters: title, image, ingredients, steps. While cooking, mangia walks you step by step — ingredients for the current phase up top, tools next to them, a swipe for the next step.
No ads — ever
mangia is funded by optional Plus features. Advertising is not a business model.
Your data, just for you
No ad tracking, no advertising pixels. What you cook and plan, we only use for your recommendations — not for advertising.
Step-by-step, no swiping away
While cooking you only see the current step. Screen stays on, hands stay clean.
Frequently asked
Will it stay ad-free as the app grows?
Yes. mangia earns from optional Plus features (balance, browse, per-kid taste profile) — advertising is ruled out as a business model.
Does ad-free also mean tracker-free?
For advertising purposes: yes. We use no ad networks, no advertising pixels, no cross-site tracking. For product improvement we use PostHog — a GDPR-compliant analytics tool. PostHog tells us which features work well, not what you want to buy. You'll see a cookie notice on your first visit.
How do recipes get into the app without ads?
Drop in a photo, PDF or link — mangia only extracts the recipe data. Banners, pop-ups and anecdotes stay outside.
What if I need a recipe page with a long backstory?
You can add notes to any recipe — long stories live there, the recipe itself stays clean.
Is the cooking mode also ad-free?
Yes. While cooking, mangia shows only the current step with ingredients and tools — no pop-ups, no banners, no swiping away.
