Ingredients

  • Flour350 g
  • Butter80 g
  • Milk150 ml
  • Baking powder2 tsp
  • Sugar50 g
  • Jam100 g

Preparation

    Preheat the oven to 200 °C. Rub the flour, baking powder and butter into crumbs. (10 min)

    Stir in the sugar and milk and briefly knead into a soft dough.

    Roll it out 2 cm thick and cut out rounds. Brush them with a little milk.

    Bake the scones until golden brown, about 14 min, and serve them with clotted cream and jam.
